English Cocker Spaniel Gun Dog Training

The past couple of weeks have had an increase in training of field-bred English Cocker Spaniels. We have our four that get quite a bit of work and Christina is having great fun with them. She continues to run Dewey to add more polish and she has just decided to make Splash available as a started dog. This will cut her down to five dogs that include three English Cocker Spaniels (Dewey, Skeeter and Millie) and two English Springer Spaniels (Annie and Lil).

In addition to our own cockers, Jason has been down a bunch with his older English Cocker Spaniel Lucy. She is a nice little gun dog and Jason continues to work on ground coverage and subtle direction, which is contrary to the retriever background he and Lucy have.
